What types of courses does Big Nerd Academy offer?
We offer courses in UX design, UI design, and Product Design, ranging from foundational skills to advanced practices. Our programs cover everything from design fundamentals and prototyping to user testing, design systems, and AI-driven workflows—helping you build both practical skills and a professional portfolio.
How can I enroll?
Start by scheduling a free consultation with us. During this session, we’ll discuss your goals and help determine if the program is the right fit for you. If it aligns with your interests, you can choose between a one-time payment or monthly installments. Once your first payment is confirmed, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions to set up your account and begin your learning journey right away.
Do I get a certificate after completing a course?
Not for individual courses. Certificates are awarded upon completion of a full program, which bundles courses together into a structured learning path.
What payment methods do you acccept?
We currently accept secure payments through PayPal, which allows you to pay directly with your credit/debit card for checkout. This flexibility makes it easy to use the method that works best for you, while ensuring your transactions are safe and protected.
Do you offer payment options?
Yes. You can choose between a one-time payment at a discounted rate or flexible monthly installments. Monthly plans give you the freedom to cancel anytime if your circumstances change.

Are the courses self-paced?
Yes — all of our courses are self-paced, so you can move through the material on your own schedule. In addition, you’ll have the option to book 1:1 sessions with your mentor at key points in your journey, ensuring you get personalized feedback and guidance when you need it most.
Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?
Yes. If you’re on a monthly plan, you can cancel anytime—though payments for the current month are non-refundable. If you’ve paid for the entire program upfront and decide to step away, we’ll provide a pro-rated refund based on the monthly rate for the time remaining in your program.
Are there prerequisites for enrolling?
No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn. We ask that students bring a positive attitude and readiness to engage with the material.
There are no age limits, but students under 18 will need a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Basic comfort with using a computer and the internet is recommended, but we’ll guide you through all the tools step by step
